Tenants spend some time in the laundry room area. The shape of this room reflects on the management. A clean, tidy, and well-maintained laundry room keeps tenants happy. Choosing the right accessories for the common laundry can save you cleaning and maintenance costs, while providing your tenants with excellent care.
Keasy recommends:
Trash Can
Make sure the room is equipped with a large trash can. The larger the can, the less you have to send maintenance out to clear it. Depending on the room size, we recommend minimum 20-gallon can. Use a matching heavy-duty trash can bag, and make sure to always have an extra bag on-site. Choose a trash can with an attached lid to keep the room looking tidy. Add extra color and a finishing touch with a trash can cover.
Signage
Signs create a feeling of control and supervision. A laundry room sign will remind your tenants of the laundry room etiquette.
Floor Covering
Like every high-traffic area, choosing the right rug will keep the room cleaner for longer. A moisture and dirt-absorbed rug by the door and in front of the machines will do the trick, plus add some color and style to the room.
Tenants Communication Board
Since tenants spend some time in this room, this is a great spot to deliver any messages you may have. Hanging a communication board on the wall is a great way to do that. Post notes for your tenants - an updated vacancy list, referral offers, community news, recycling reminders - any message you want to push, this is a great way to do that.
Security
