One of the (very few) positive outcomes of the you-know-which-pandemic is the option to conduct property tours virtually.
A virtual tour is a personal 1:1 online meeting where our team member is physically on-site showing you a property via video chat.
You can book a tour online from any listing page, just like a regular tour; simply choose the virtual tour option. Alternatively, you can also email us to set up such a tour.
Virtual tours can save you time and commute, and they are a great option for those relocating from a distance.
Here are a few tips for a successful virtual tour:
- Ensure you have a great internet connection for the time of the meeting.
- Pay attention. Virtual tours require your full attention. Don’t book a tour while you are driving, running another meeting in the background, in a hurry, or distracted. Make sure you clear the time to focus on the tour.
- Like the space? Great. Now, make sure you research the area as well: get the accurate address, explore the map, read local news, and look for services that are essential to you nearby.
- Ready to move forward with a lease? Ask about short-term lease/month-to-month options. If you cannot see the space in person prior to signing the lease, it's good to know you have a “way out”.
- Last but not least, remember, your virtual tour is a physical meeting for our team member. If you cannot make it, please respectfully inform our team ahead of time.
Ready to book? A comfy chair and a cup of coffee are highly recommend!
